11/01/2009 -- Lauren Knode is New Artist at Silver Heron Gallery
Visitors to the Silver Heron Gallery in Depoe Bay are in for a special treat. The gallery is now representing painter Lauren Knode, whose skyscapes are filled with radiance, brilliant blues and clouds that almost appear to move with the winds. Light from a Southwestern sunset falls softly on the desert landscape. In a painting of a rose, light appears about to burst through translucent petals. Knode captures those "wow moments" we all want to remember.
