05/24/2009 -- Gallery with a Gift Opens in Depoe Bay

The new WJW Gallery in Depoe Bay, owned by Talley and John Woodmark, opened in May. The 1200 square-foot gallery represents regional and nationally-acclaimed artists, and will present the work of over 50 artisans at the gallery on a regular basis. While the WJW Gallery is a full-fledged gallery in its own right, it offers a little something extra. "All profits from the gallery," said Talley, "will go to help fund the WJW Foundation's various programs, one of which provides scholarships for young emerging artists." The foundation's flagship project, Wade's House-A Healing Place of Hope, offering a retreat for families who have lost a child, will also benefit from proceeds of the new gallery.
