Horses, cats and elements of fire are the subjects for the fall exhibition featuring work of Bob Coonts and Nosivad, at Silver Heron Gallery in Depoe Bay beginning September 20. A two-day open house will be September 20-21. Bob Coonts' work is contemporary. His use of colors how originality and freedom in his images that range from stylized and whimsical to contemporary representational. Coonts' subject matter reflects his interest in the West, both yesterday and today. Nosivad utilizes found metal objects and combines them with new pieces, which can include glass, wood or terracotta. His finished sculptures, wall mounts or gongs display a style which is uniquely his own.
