Lee Pollock grew up in a family of artists and started sculpting at an early age. At around the age of 6 his father encouraged him to sculpt whales tales out of porcelain clay. His career as an artist began with his selling these pieces at art fairs for $5 a piece. In High School he decided to study the lost was process known as "cire perdue". Eventually the project turned into "Midnight Journey", one of his most successful sculptures. During the next few years Lee continued to create and refine his sea life creature bronzes to assist in financing his further education. His work has expanded into studies of the human form in both realistic as well as abstracted vision.
Now, as a member of the Thunderbird Artists, Lee Pollock is devoting himself full time as one of the nations most up and coming bronze artist.
